Business Office The Lewistown Public Schools Business Office provides financial support to the District. Staff are responsible for purchasing/receiving, payroll, and the District's financial records.
Curriculum & Assessment Our curriculum documents and adoption material recommendations are accomplished through the work of our individual content matter curriculum teams which include teachers, administrators, Board members and volunteers. Once a team makes its recommendations, the curriculum standards and materials must be approved by the Board of Trustees.
Instructional Media Center (IMC) The Instructional Media Center (IMC) serves as a mini print shop for the Lewistown School District. By centralizing the high volume of media produced by the district, the overall savings in time and cost is significant.
Library Media/Information Literacy Centers Each of our libraries are the central focus of instruction within each of our schools. They are an integral part of every student's education and it is with the help of these Library Media Centers that our instructional staff provide student opportunities to learn to love literature and become intellectually curious.
Maintenance Services The LPS Maintenance Services Department is responsible for supporting all maintenance and custodial services within the Lewistown Public Schools.
School Counseling LPS follows the American School Counseling Association model for school counseling, reaching out to students supporting their academic, career, and social emotional needs.
School Food Service Lewistown School Food Service is located in the Lincoln Building and can be reached at 535-5261. Our menus are subject to change due to price and availability of products. Technology The LPS Technology Department provides technical support and training for Lewistown School District computer and telecommunication systems. The LPS Technology Department also provides technological assistance to many of the Co-op schools surrounding Lewistown.
Title I Schoolwide While schools may have funding from more than one federal program, the vast majority of federal funding for our School District comes in the form of Title I Part A Funding. As a district that has been approved as a Schoolwide Title I program, we work to meet the goals and objectives of that program by focusing our efforts across our district to educate all students.
