The Lewistown Community Covid Team would like to wish you a Merry Christmass, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
We are pleased to report that currently Covid cases are relatively low in Fergus County and Central Montana. Hospitalized Covid-19 patients at CMMC have also decreased significantly in the past few weeks!
We encourage everyone to continue to make responsible health choices for themselves and others. Flu and Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged before traveling or gathering for the holidays. If you become ill, it’s best to stay home to avoid spreading illness to others. Our local schools and childcare providers recognize that parents have been doing a great job of keeping sick children home. Handwashing/hygiene, good nutrition, hydration, and adequate sleep are all positive habits that can help keep you healthy. The Covid-19 vaccine is now available in Lewistown for children ages 5-11. Covid-19 booster doses are available for everyone age 18 and older. All those who are eligible are encouraged to get vaccinated. If you have questions about your personal healthcare decisions, please visit with your primary care provider.
Central Montana Medical Center will be offering Covid vaccinations for children and adults. Please consult with your primary care provider for vaccine availability. CMMC has Pfizer, Pfizer kids doses, and Moderna available.
One Health offers Covid-19 Vaccinations by appointment to all of the public. They have vaccines available for children and adults, and also offer the booster dose. One Health has Pfizer, Pfizer kids doses, Moderna, and J&J.
The Fergus County Nurses Office offers vaccines by appointment and through various vaccination clinics for children and adults. The Fergus County Nurses Office offers Pfizer, Pfizer kids doses, Moderna, J&J, and the booster dose.
