ADA Compliance

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law that requires every school website to be easy for someone with a motor, auditory, cognitive and/or visual disability to navigate. It ensures that everyone in and outside of your community can access your website.

Business Office

The Lewistown Public Schools Business Office provides financial support to the District.  Staff are responsible for purchasing/receiving, payroll, and the District's financial records.   

Central Montana Education Center

The Central Montana Education Center is no longer operating the Adult Education program.

Curriculum & Assessment

The Lewistown Public Schools review, develop, and implement curriculum that meets state and federal academic standards. Essential learning expectations and related assessments are utilized to meet the academic needs of the students.

Federal Programs

Learning in the Lewistown Public Schools is enhanced utilizing funding from the federal government. The funding affords LPS the opportunity to offer additional training, instruction, technology and other critical services which are not funded through the general education fund provided by the state. These federally funded programs provides resources to further the achievement of all students by providing support for their unique educational needs.

Instructional Media Center (IMC)

LPS Instructional Media CenterThe Instructional Media Center (IMC) serves as a mini print shop for the Lewistown School District. By centralizing the high volume of media produced by the district, the overall savings in time and cost is significant.

Library Media/Information Literacy Centers

Each of our libraries are the central focus of instruction within each of our schools.  They are an integral part of every student's education and it is with the help of these Library Media Centers that our instructional staff provide student opportunities to learn to love literature and become intellectually curious. 

Lincoln Building

Administrative departments found in the Lincoln building today are the Superintendent's office, Business Office, the Instructional Media Center, Curriculum, Food Service, Maintenance and Technology. The School Board also meets here in the Board Room.  The Lincoln building also hosts the Central Montana Learning Resource Center Cooperative (CMLRCC), a six county special education cooperative.

 

Maintenance Services

The LPS Maintenance Services Department is responsible for supporting all maintenance and custodial services within the Lewistown Public Schools.

School Counseling

Hello and welcome to our page. We are looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year. We follow the American School Counseling Association model for school counseling, reaching out to students supporting their academic, career, and social emotional needs.

School Food Service

Lewistown School Food Service is located in the Lincoln Building and can be reached at 535-5261.

Our menus are subject to change due to price and availability of products. Printable Food Service menus for both elementary and secondary schools can be found on the School Food Service home page.

Technology

The LPS Technology Department provides technical support and training for Lewistown School District computer and telecommunication systems.  The LPS Technology Department also provides technological assistance to many of the Co-op schools surrounding Lewistown.
